BCCI on MI captaincy chance

BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla has revealed that the board was involved in the matter when Hardik Pandya took over from Rohit Sharma as MI’s captain before IPL 2024. The swap wasn’t taken well by fans, who booed Hardik both away and at home. The BCCI reached out to both and knew that neither of them had any issues with each other; it was just the fanbase that was miffed.
